What is Inside-Outside?

🌡 Sharing ideas, resources and support

🌲 Connecting with each other, our communities and nature

🌿 Reconnecting with the fundamentals

🌴 Inspiring one another

Inside-Outside formed in response to a growing interest in nature-based education and using nature for teaching and learning. Our purpose is to develop and connect a network of educators and educational institutions throughout the United States, gather and share resources, and to confidently, safely and joyfully venture outdoors with children.

What We've Achieved:

  • Our first gathering was on April 12, 2018 & we have been meeting regularly since.

  • In 7 years we have grown from 10 members to over 950 members!

  • We have 17 active Local Chapters expanding from the Northeast all over the US and continually growing.

  • Nature-based educators are supporting and encouraging one another, sharing ideas and resources, and inspiring teaching and learning outdoors everyday!
